Alexander Girard is recognized as one of the leading figures of postwar American design and, along with Charles and Ray Eames and George Nelson, became renowned for his graphic and often abstract textile designs. Indeed, this contemporary approach to textile design is what makes Girard’s designs so timeless.

The Sun keyring depicts a smiling sun on a metal keyring with a brass finish. The smiling face was used by Girard on a range of products, and is a trademark of this iconic designer.
