Paimio table by Alvar Aalto
Designed for the Paimio Sanatorium, 1929-1933, the table marries with many of Aalto’s seminal seating designs. The curved plywood shelf and top integrate with two laminated legs to create structural cohesion. Production of this design has been erratic and unlike many designs from Paimio, it has not been in continuous production. This example late 1940’s early 1950’s.
