Radiohus Sofa P3 by Vilhem Lauritzen for Menu.
The Radiohus Sofa P3 was initially designed by Vilhelm Lauritzen in 1936 to sit in the foyer of the Royal Danish Academy of Music (Radiohus). An icon of Danish functionalism, Lauritzen rejected the popular conservative design aesthetic of the time in favour of a futuristic articulation, delivering a convex shape with an inviting, open construction.
Supported by an elegant wooden base available in beech, oak, walnut or teak, the sofa is shaped to embrace the body when seated. The seat is beautifully upholstered and adorned with neat rows of buttons on the back rest, which adds an extra flair to the design.
