The Penguin chair is a light yet elegantly sculptural dining chair first produced in 1953. A modern Danish icon and a mid-century best-seller, its name is derived from the aquatic, flightless bird. The chair features an oversized, flipper-shaped backrest showcasing an organic approach to form, which gently embraces the sitter while handsomely contrasting the chair’s slender base.
