Nesso Table Lamp by Giancarlo Mattioli for Artemide.
The Nesso table lamp expresses the classic 60s enthusiasm for space-age forms and materials and is one of the most notable lighting designs of the period.
Designer Giancarlo Mattioli’s experiments with newly available thermoplastic resins resulted in an elegant table light with a distinctly 60s sensibility and a timeless appeal. As a defining design of the period, the Nesso table lamp has been added to the collections of many museums, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
Nessino, Nesso’s smaller version is also available; see ‘Product range’ below.
